American Idol part 2

I'm back. And what a day I had! I am not giving away whether I made it to the next round or not until the end of my rant, even if some of you already know due to my constant ranting all over facebook lol

So I set my alarm at 1:15 AM, problem is...I didn't fall asleep until 11 pm, due to nerves. WEll, I didn't wake up until 3:30 am! I was supposed to leave a 3 am!

So I leave around 4, get to the IZOD center just after 5 am. And then came the traffic...oh god, the traffic. We were barely moving, and it took almost an hour to even get parking from the point of the exit off the turnpike.

We get to the building, to find out, sit and relax, we're not moving for a few hours.

Problem is...I was wearing a PENCIL SKIRT!!!!! Not too comfy to sit in for two hours

Around 7:15 am, we are moved inside, where we go to take our seats. After about an hour of everyone coming in, they started. First announcements, then doing the crowd cheers.

Our cheer was WELCOME TO JERSEY BABY!! (You know how you always see a group of people shout something liek that on the show?)

A little while later...one of the producers, who was doing most of the announcements during the show, announced that there were two surprise people here. One, most people were not surprised to see (let's see if you can figure out who?) The other guest was the one...the only...born and raised in Jersey, former contestant CONSTANTINE MAROULIS!!!!! After all of that excitement, Seacrest then did all the camera shots with, the This is American Idol and all that jazz. Then had to leave Because he had to go into the winner's circle where he was doing a live radio show, interviewing people who made it past the first round


Ok...almost done, lol

About 2 hours into the auditions, my group moves down. We are separated into groups of four and sent off to a producer's table, where we are asked to sing for 15-45 seconds. I sang Take Me or Leave me from Rent

The judge let me for MORE THAN A MINUTE!!!!!!! So I felt all excited, it must mean that the judge liked me, right?

The others sing, he then asks us to come up to the table together.

He said that we all chose the right songs for our style and voice, but this year they upped the bar, because it's the 10th season, and we weren't quite up to par

So I didn't make it in, but I had the absolute time of my life, and do not regret it for one second! My favorite parts were seeing Seacrest and Constantine, as well as having the opportunity to audition at all.
